What Makes Our Balloon Flights So Special?
The entire adventure begins even before you take your place in the basket. The balloon crew sets up the hot air balloon before departure. You can witness the entire inflation process from A to Z. While preparations are underway, you will receive a personal briefing from the pilot. All necessary information and safety instructions are thoroughly explained. During the briefing, the pilot will also explain why ballooning is the safest air sport in the world. This way, even the most stressed passenger can fully enjoy the balloon flight, which lasts about an hour.
We conclude with an extensive aperitif at the landing site, accompanied by snacks and drinks. For our youngest guests, we also provide non-alcoholic beverages. We end this phenomenal experience in a cozy way with a traditional toast. Upon request, we also offer a traditional champagne baptism.

Spildooren Ballooning has several special launch locations that we use depending on wind direction and speed. This allows our experienced team to always guarantee a safe and relaxed balloon flight.

Practical Information
- Age Requirements: There is no minimum or maximum age to participate in our balloon flights. Children under 12 years need an accompanying adult.
- Dressing Advice: Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes with long pants. A jacket for cooling after sunset is recommended.
Afraid of Heights? No Worries!
In a hot air balloon, you have no physical contact with the ground, providing a worry-free experience.
If you’d like to go ballooning in another region, we also have launch locations in Antwerp, East Flanders, West Flanders, or Limburg. The gems are especially found in Sint-Niklaas and the Waasland, near Ghent.
