Looking for a breathtaking activity on a beautiful summer day at the last minute? Then a last minute balloon flight is just what you need!
The balloon flights always depart from our unique launch locations throughout Belgium. We have fixed departure points in Sint-Niklaas, Ghent, the Waasland, East Flanders, Antwerp, and Flemish Brabant. The gems are mainly found in the East Flanders region and Antwerp.
For a small additional fee of 20 euros per person, a breakfast is provided at the landing site after the morning flight. This way, you can enjoy a beautiful summer morning in the air and on the ground! Who knows, we might even prepare your eggs on the hot air balloon burner. A secret trick among balloonists that we love to share with our customers.
This combination is possible for groups of at least 7 people.
How does a balloon flight with breakfast work?
Upon arrival at the take-off location, there is a comprehensive briefing with essential safety instructions for the flight. Ballooning is one of the safest air sports in the world. The pilot will also explain this extensively during the briefing along with various do’s and don’ts as well as the landing position and specific flight details. During the briefing, you can ask the pilot your most pressing questions.
Individual guidance for each passenger is central to Spildooren Ballooning.
After take-off, it’s time to enjoy an hour of peace and quiet above the Flemish landscape.
Upon landing, you will be greeted by a delicious breakfast in nature. We provide all sorts of delicacies and prepare eggs and other items on-site.
The breathtaking views, personal guidance for each passenger, and dining in a relaxed atmosphere are just some of the many advantages this flight has to offer.
Fear of heights?
Are there some people who suffer from fear of heights? Let that not be a problem! During a hot air balloon ride, you make no physical contact with the ground, which automatically reduces nervousness.
What clothing for ballooning?
The clothing needed during the flight is almost the same as on the ground.
Some must-haves:
- Long pants
- Sturdy shoes
- Thick jacket
A thick jacket is not necessary during flight. During the concluding dinner, however, this jacket is required.
In a hot air balloon, it is not much colder than on the ground. Flying at higher altitudes causes cooling by a few degrees. The heat radiation from the burners compensates for this cooling.
