Jo Spildooren
Jo began his training in 1987 and has been a passionate hot air balloonist ever since, both in Belgium and abroad. He is involved with ballooning on a daily basis and was previously a board member and co-founder of the Waasland Ballooning Association ‘Waasballon’. Born and raised in Sint-Niklaas, Jo is extremely proud to have put ballooning on the map in Belgium’s ultimate ballooning city, Sint-Niklaas.

Thomas Spildooren
As the youngest son, Thomas caught the ballooning bug from his father. Eager and passionate about the sport, he started training at an early age and became a commercial pilot. Together with his father, he enjoys flying and the unique connection with passengers. Thomas gained plenty of experience flying alongside his dad for years. He learned all about ballooning from a young age and practically grew up in the sky. He enjoys the social aspect of flying, but from time to time, he also unleashes his competitive spirit during ballooning competitions at home and abroad.
